Apexindo accomplished a “hat-trick” during the industry downturn
In the last three months period, PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (Apexindo), one of the IPA Associate Members, has received three recognition awards for their performance in drilling rig operations which have been conducted in several working areas in Indonesia, namely: the BTE-1 well and Kepodang project of KEJT-C3 and KEJT-C4 offshore wells of Petronas Indonesia, Apexindo Rig 2 on the RGT drilling project onshore at Central Java for Pertamina Hulu Energi Randugunting and the Apexindo Rig 4 for drilling of geothermal wells in North Sulawesi for Pertamina Geothermal Energy.
“These awards are reflections of the reliable service quality provided by Apexindo. During this downturn in the industry where we experienced a significant reduction in drilling activity, I am proud to see a result of our consistency in maintaining a high standard of services. Our day rates have been reduced by up to 40% if not more in the past few years; however it is our commitment to always deliver the highest performance. We are committed to excellence”, stated Zainal Abidinsyah Siregar, the President Director of Apexindo, in a written press release to the IPA Secretariat Office, on February 7th, 2017.
Zainal added that their knowledge and experience in onshore and offshore operations are a solid base for successful long-standing business partnership with the prominent locally based clients in addition to multi-national foreign companies, such as Total E&P Indonesie in Delta Mahakam, and VICO Indonesia in East Kalimantan area where we have been consistently operating rigs for over 25 years.
