Liquid loading is one of the most common problems encountered in gas field. As the gas production drops, well begins to loss energy and liquid loading starts that eventually causing the well to stop producing. In Tunu Field, offload is a proven solution to solve liquid loading problem. The principle of offload is to remove liquid column by venting the well into the atmosphere. By providing extra drawdown, the liquid will be lifted. Although offload has been proven to be quite successful in many cases, more than 30% of offloads done in Tunu Field fails to produce gain. This paper therefore will discuss how to improve offload performance by conducting offload historical data analytics. Offload data analytics is accomplished by analyzing offloads performance from the past two years. Data analytics is firstly began with data collection, and will be continued by data processing, data cleansing, data analysis, and finally resulted in offload wells selection criteria. We will compare how well parameters prior offload, such as wellhead pressure, wellhead temperature, gas rate, well shut-in or flowing duration, and water gas ratio, correlates with the performance of offload. These criteria of offload wells selection will furthermore help engineers to make decisions whether to offload a well or not.
