Application of qualitative and quantitative log interpretation methods as used for common sedimentary rocks seems not always possible without some modifications and adjustments due to different rock type, and consequently different tool response. This paper discusses in brief, log response to the Jatibarang volcanic reservoir and some interpretation techniques, applicable for field operations, which so far indicate fair results.
