The subject of this research is characterization of the porosity and diagenesis of the carbonate within the Parigi Formation associated with the JPP-14 Well, in the Karina Field, North West Java Basin. This field is still producing and is still undergoing development and exploitation by the Pertamina Upstream West Java group.Combination of wireline log and petrography data will is used to define the porosity and assess the diagenetic processes. Based on the understanding of reservoir character heterogenity on Parigi Formation, Information about variation of porosity development and diagenetic level on carbonate reservoar can be achieved.
