MDGs are the road map guiding countries in their journey to reach human security. Government is the dominant actor in the implementation MDGs but they cannot do it alone. They need help from the other stakeholder, including private sector. Indonesian Petroleum Industries has a role on MDGs implementation through their corporate social responsibility program (CSR) which supported by qualified human resources. Firstly, it is strengthening the corporate internal management by giving extra focus on managing its social programs. The intensification of internal management performance capability must be taken into account. CSR officers should have ability to design program, to be responsive executors and to have good communication for strengthening their trained society group. To be able to focus on the goal of CSR program, sharing in particular team is needed. Corporation ability on having development ethic through CSR is more important than corporation ability on getting profit, although it is actually the main goal of a corporation, which is to get profit. In this writing, there are some reasons why private sector could have some roles in achieving MDGs. The roles are that Indonesian Petroleum Industries invests to the sustainability of the environment in running business, creates new business opportunities through economic based programs or occupations, improves farming productivity and utilization, and opens new opportunities for private sector to actively get involved in The Global Impact implementation through Corporate Social Responsibility program. Second, CSR Officer should do mapping for the needs, capability and future potency of the society which going to be trained. CSR/development should be able to engage with the local culture and habit. It is crucial to keep sustainability on reaching its program. Third, there should be a close relationship between community and private sector to build partnership with the local stakeholder. CSR Officer should not be reluctant to create Society Promotion Team in each of their program, so the two-way communication can be achieved. Exit strategy is conducted to help CSR Officer in order to ease private sector exiting from the society. The synergy among private sectors is essential.
