Joint inversion on different datasets that represent different geophysical parameters is effective to reduce the non-uniqueness of the inversion process. This method takes seismic traveltime and gravity data as inputs and minimizes an overall objective function in a single inversion run to obtain near surface velocity and density models. The effectiveness of our joint inversion was tested with 2D real data. The case study was started by sequentially performing inversion on each data type while enhancing similarity by sharing information between velocity and density model using Gardner
