This paper will describe quality skills training that P.T. Caltex Pacific Indonesia (CPI) initiated in 1993 within the Petroleum Engineering (PE) Department and other related disciplines. The role of training in implementing total quality improvement will be discussed, as will other aspects of CPI's quality improvement efforts.
