Environmental laboratory analysis is a critical process before publishing the certificate of analysis results to clients, especially for those who need to identify environmental parameters at their location and ensure compliance with quality standards to meet HSES standards. The company has developed a WebGIS platform by digitizing data to improve environmental laboratory operations. However, the laboratory department has not evaluated the efficiency of this platform either qualitatively or quantitatively. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of using a data digitization system to determine cutting times and increase the validity and originality of data in the system. The study employs a quantitative method through case studies to compare the time required for manual processing of laboratory analysis result certificates with processing assisted by digitization via WebGIS. Additionally, descriptive qualitative methods, including interviews and questionnaires, are utilized to determine the increase in validity and originality of laboratory analysis results. The results show that the digitization process through the WebGIS system can increase the overall process efficiency of laboratory analysis results by up to 78.71%. Furthermore, the level of validity and originality is improved by the existence of a barcode connected to the WebGIS system. This barcode indicates that other parties cannot falsify the laboratory analysis certificate. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that using a data digitization system, specifically WebGIS, can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of environmental laboratory analysis processes. This research can be a useful guide for other environmental laboratories considering implementing a similar digitization system.
